Introduction to “Short Stories”
The following collection of short stories are edited from interviews in my ongoing oral history project. As time goes on, I will be adding interviews and short stories to this living collection. I know that stories and songs transform the world, and I am committed to collecting the stories of those involved in the Texas music scene…from songwriter to musician to performer to producer. My second book with UT Press is an oral history of the women of Texas music. My first book was a collection of interviews with Texas songwriters.
